Our Mission
The mission of Mt. Pisgah Elementary School, with its strong family and community support, is to meet the needs of each individual student by providing a positive, challenging, and safe environment that facilitates success, promotes lifelong learning, and develops responsible citizens

Dear Parents,

We have a need in the health room for stretchy shorts and sweat pants.  If you are cleaning out your child’s closet and have clothing your child has outgrown, and they are in good condition, please consider donating them to the health room at Mt. Pisgah.  Our biggest needs are small and medium sizes.  Also, if you are a member of a Sunday school class, club, or you have the means, please consider donating packs of panties or underwear and socks for our students who have a need during the day.

Thank you in advance!

Denise Phillips, RN

Parent Friendly Standards Links

Parent Symbaloo contains wonderful resources that will be helpful as our school transitions from the SC State Curriculum standards to the Common Core curriculum standards.  This link will be updated with sites you can use to support your child and school.

This website gives information about what your child should be learning in each grade.  These easy to access standards are organized by grade level.

eChalk Parent Accounts

Parents of elementary school students can register for an eChalk Parent Account at http://mtp.kcsdschools.com/parents/register.  (All parents must create a new account for the 2013-14 School Year.)

Middle & high school students require a District ID number, which you will receive in a letter from the school that will be sent home soon.  This information will allow parents to access the student's homework schedule and view class pages directly.

Additional information on eChalk Parent Accounts - including a video walk-through - are available on the district website at www.kershaw.k12.sc.us/district/instruction/echalk.
